We hope to create a moment of pause within everyone’s busy days within the Westphal building. By using a wall of rope and a message spray painted on it, we hoped to have people question its purpose and take a moment from their day to interact with the installation. We are interested in how people will move through the space and how the spray-painted image distorts as people interact with it, showing how the message no longer applies once people take the step to go through the rope wall.
